Koh Chang is only 330km east of Bangkok (approx. four hours by road) plus another 30 to 45 minutes by boat or ferry. "Owners are entitled to 30 days free use per year and there is a ten percent rental guarantee in place for two years from completion, which is scheduled for February 2010," explains Mr. McDermott.

"The developer has a seventy percent guaranteed mortgage and it’s possible for buyers to participate from just £1,000 deposit with nothing more to pay until completion."
