Robin Haynes

Managing Director

Following his graduation from Jesus College, Oxford with a degree in Physics, Robin worked as an account manager for one of the UK’s top web agencies before moving on to become a trainee stockbroker. Excelling in his new career, Robin went on to join one of the country’s market-leading foreign exchange brokerages where he worked his way up through the firm to become the co-director, responsible for managing a team of brokers as well as driving the success of the business.

Recognising his clear business acumen, focus and drive, the PropertyIndex.com management team chose Robin as the ideal executive to head up the Currency Index team. His role of managing director now involves Robin forging corporate partnerships, driving brand awareness and developing the business. In his spare time, Robin enjoys indulging in his passion for cars, playing hockey for his local club and supporting his favourite football team – Tottenham Hotspur.

Tom Arnold

Sales Director

Tom’s extensive sales experience and impressive background in foreign currency exchange made him the ideal expert to fulfil the role of sales director with Currency Index. Before embarking upon a career in foreign exchange, Tom specialised in IT sales, accumulating 10 years experience - managing sales teams and a range of client accounts.

Immediately prior to joining Currency Index, Tom played a pivotal role within one of the UK’s top foreign exchange brokers. He was responsible for managing a large team of currency specialists and also actively handling foreign currency exchanges himself, which saw him repeatedly gain recognition as the brokerage’s top dealer. His outstanding performance culminated in the offer of a directorship, which he turned down in order to join Currency Index.

Tom is now the key driving force behind the overall sales activities at Currency Index. In his free time Tom enjoys spending time with his two young children, watching and playing rugby, and supporting Arsenal.

Simon Eastman

Senior Broker

While working full-time, Simon completed a self-funded part time BA Honours degree. He became an estate agent and was soon awarded the accolade of top regional negotiator within six months of being with the company. Simon later went on to become an IT sales account manager, responsible for running a sales floor and looking after five of the company’s top 10 accounts, including Amazon, DABS and PC World. Following on from his success, Simon became an FX broker and trading supervisor for two and a half years.

His role as senior broker with Currency Index involves Simon following up all enquiries for information on currency exchange; account management; writing market commentary for the website which informs visitors of currency movements; carrying out currency trading on behalf of clients; building affiliate relationships with foreign estate agents and managing referrals. Married with one child, Simon enjoys spending time with his family, watching Tottenham Hotspur and travelling.

Chris Hall

Payments Manager

Chris worked with the major global financial services provider - Barclays Bank Plc for four years in the central role of cash manager. He accumulated domestic and international payment experience while managing the branch counter as well as the cash books, and received the company’s Eagle Award in recognition of his outstanding performance.

Chris was promoted into the position of Barclays brand agent before joining a market-leading currency brokerage where he worked as an FX coordinator dealing with UK and global transactions. Now working as a key member of the Currency Index team in the role of payments manager, Chris is responsible for the receipt and transmission of international payments; managing accounts, banking, reconciliations and administration. Eager to build upon his financial skill set, Chris is currently studying for a qualification awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He enjoys travelling in his spare time, as well as watching American football.
