About Tenerife

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the west coast of Morocco. The north and the south of the island are distinctly different, with the former boasting lush, tropical landscapes, and the latter being characterised by arid, sandy plains. The middle of the island is dominated by the ancient dormant volcano of Mount Teide (Pico del Teide), which is also Spain's highest mountain, visible from most parts of the island on a clear day.
