Cyprus’ southern coastal town of Limassol is the country’s largest seaside resort. For sun worshippers, Limassol offers a selection of beaches, including the secluded white bays of Governors Beach in the east of the area, which provide the perfect playground for those who enjoy snorkeling; Ladies Mile in western Limassol, which is the longest beach on the island; and Pissouri Beach, a quiet shingle/pebble beach which offers a selection of water sports. Sailing is particularly popular in Cyprus, and Limassol’s marina provides the perfect starting point for a coastal tour.
