Local food and specialities
Fresh fruit and vegetables are plentiful here, as are olives and olive oil. Dishes include bouillabaisse and bourride (fish dishes), fougasse (Provencal bread), the tian gratin (a vegetable bake). To drink it has to be pastis (aniseed liqueur), gambette (fig cordial) and of course wines from the Bouches du Rhone vineyards.
