Agon-Coutainville is a family oriented seaside resort in the Manche department of Normandy located in the north west of France. On one side stands Agon, a picturesque market town with its famous 19th century church overlooking the Bay of Sienne, on the other lies Countainville, a seaside resort with 8km of fine sand, a long covered walk and shellfish picking. It is ideally located between the port towns of Granville and Cherbourg, and less than an hour away from the world famous Mont Saint Michel, a feature of mediaeval architecture. The impregnable fortification was built on a rocky outcrop and offers the ideal platform for looking out over the immense bay landscape.
