The location
Les hauts de la Houle is 650 metres by road to the port, the centre of Cancale and all amenities. Cancale is a very picturesque fishing village, known as the oyster capital of Brittany. A large number of restaurants specialising in seafood will offer you these delicacies as well as other seasonal catch. There are also many shops, markets and services for all needs. Cancale also offers some very pleasant sheltered beaches. There is much to do throughout the year with art galleries, museums and festivals. A lovely coastal path permits a walk from the town to the Pointe du Grouin with views across the bay to the Mont Saint Michel.
