The villa is in perfect condition, originally an old farmhouse it was entirely renovated and enlarged in 2001 following the traditional shapes and colours of the region and using where possible natural materials like terracotta and wood for floors, wood for doors and windows. Floor heating is used on the terracotta ground floor while the upper floors are heated by stylish radiators. Irrigation water is taken from a private lake within the property.
