Local artisan and pottery businesses along with tourism in the nearby natural reserve of Mount Rufeno make this a productive area. From the A1 motorway, exit at Orvieto ,go to San Lornzo Nuovo and take the Cassia as far as Acquapendente. From Rome.using the Cassia, pass Ronciglione, Viterbo, Montefiascone, Bolsena, San Lorenzo Nuovo and lastly Acquapendente.Coming from Siena take the Cassia to Acquapendente.
