The house is 70msq and is sold with 2400msq of land. There are also numerous outbuildings in varying conditions - we would recommend removing a couple of them. The house has stunning views to the back and is located near the centre of the village. There are also a large number of grape vines on the property which the owner used to make wine from. This is a solid, dry property but has everything to do. It is habitable though and camping out in it would be possible if you intended renovating the property yourself. The garden has been fenced off into sections as the owner kept a variety of animals, then at the bottom of the garden is a field which belongs to the property. village Kerecseny. It's a solid house, couple of outbuildings are usable but a couple I would take down. The village is a mix of traditional farming properties and several German renovated and new build properties plus some German apartments currently being constructed. It is only 15 minutes from Flybalaton, 10 minutes to a fishing lake, 15 mins from the spa resort of Zalakaros. The houses next to it are well maintained, one is a large two storey newish built property. We bought here because the village is surrounded by forests and countryside yet 20-25 minutes drive to 3 towns and Lake Balaton.

The village:

This is a small hidden village, nestled in the hills but yet only 15 minutes from the airport, 20-25 minutes from Lake Balaton and 15 minutes from the renowned fishing lake Kis Balaton. The village has two shops, a caravan and camping site, a small animal park and a small lake. It is also 10 minutes from Gelse which has a new swimming and spa complex and 15 minutes from the spa resort of Zalakaros. A number of foreigners living in the village, including Germans, Brits and Austrians. There are forest walks on your doorstep and deer, Golden Jackal, wild boar and a variety of Birds are regularly seen in the area. The village is a sleepy traditional Hungarian farming village and the people are very friendly. There is currently a similar property in the village for sale at £17,000 and a partially renovated one for £46,000 so this property is a real BARGAIN.
