The apartment is in a very smart village just over an hour from Sofia Airport in a NE direction, popular with wealthier Sofians and still with a sense of community. There are 3-4 shops and bars and the practical town of Yablanitsa is 15 km away for all your needs. Karlugerovo is a quiet and peaceful village, with a very safe reputation and almost no empty houses – we’ve been trying to find them for ages! The surroundings are high hills covered in forests and the River Iskar flowing through – really very lovely indeed, equal to anything in the whole of Europe.
