Paphos has become the most popular location in Cyprus. Paphos has its own international airport and is itself steeped in history. The landscape and scenery are breathtaking and there are so many areas of unspoilt nature. Paphos is home to the peninsula of Akamas which is a natural wilderness in itself containing stunning gorges, excellent nature trails and some of the most extravagant coastlines. It is said that the Goddess Aphrodite was born in Paphos and there are still remains of her temple located here.

The main attraction of Paphos town is its beautiful fishing harbour and here you will find open air cafes and taverns along with a range of restaurants and shops.

Coral Bay and Lara Beach offer you some of the best swimming locations on the island of Cyprus. They are filled with golden sand and clear seas and many hold blue flag awards due to the Mediterranean climate there are over 300 days of sunshine to enjoy these beautiful beaches.

There are three excellent golf courses in Paphos and all are within 20 minutes driving distance in a car. These golf courses have been rated among the top golf courses in Europe.


Kathikas village

Ideally situated between Paphos and Latchi, the pretty village built of stone is set on top of the low hills of the Laona plateau.

The village offers something for everyone. Famous for its vineyards, the village is surrounded by vines and is renowned for the quality of its grapes. The village retains its old world character whilst encouraging selected new developments. In the heart of the village there is a well-known restaurant and three coffee shops. There is no main church, but a small chapel serves the needs of the village. The village square has a small taverna where you can enjoy a cool drink whilst sitting under the trees.
