"Borgo del Prato I" is a tranquil development surrounded by olive fields situated in the lovely town of Calopezzati. History tells you that Calopezzati became a "borgo" (a town) around the middle of the 11th Century when the Monastery of Saint Nicola was founded by Greek monks. During the invasion of the Byzantines, it was not unusual that monasteries would indirectly promote the creation of "borgos" due to the fact that people, when trying to escape from the invaders, would congregate around any monastery on a hill, to better protect themselves.

A white sandy beach is situated at only 5 minutes away, a place where to have a swim in its tranquil and crystal-clear waters becomes a real experience. A gentle walk through Calopezzati's narrow streets is like travelling back in time, stopping along the way to taste, in any of the local restaurants, the delicious "tagliatelle con ceci" or the "spaghetti con vongole".

The development consists on one and two bedroom apartments distributed in two levels: the units on the ground floor have a lovely garden whereas the units at the top floor have a balcony. The Sea can perfectly be seen from either the ground and top floor apartments.

There are 16 apartments in total in this first phase, 8 units in block A and 8 units in block B. Both blocks have direct access to a large pool which will be situated in front of block B. Residents at Borgo del Prato will be able to access the complex through the main gate and their visitors will find enough parking spaces inside the complex.

All apartments include a fully fitted kitchen (extractor, hob, oven and fridge) and a water boiler in the price. There are already two show rooms finished on site so that you can see the quality of build with which these apartments are being built.

There are two important tourist projects that will be developed in the area at only 5 minutes drive from "Borgo del Prato I". One is called "Jonic Resort" which will be built by the Sea and will consist on the construction of a Sports area (with indoor and outdoor pool, gymnasium and tennis and football pitches), two hotels with Spa Centre, two theme restaurants and a supermarket. The other project is called "Jonic Golf Resort" and will host a 27-hole golf course (18 + 9 practice), hotels with Spa and Beauty Centre, and residential area. Both projects will not only give a higher quality of life to the area but will also give a very important rental potential to these apartments.
