In May the town pulls out all the stops to celebrate the three day Festival of St Nicholas when a statue of the saint is paraded through the streets and the partying begins.
There is so much to enjoy at Sellia, from exploring the fascinating ancient past of the town where the archaelogists have found glass, precious metals and pottery dating back into pre-history to looking in on the nearby Lambretta scooter museum, an icon of the 20th century.

Getting to Sellia Marina could not be more simple. Excellent roads now link the area to the International Lamezia Terme airport served by budget airlines and the up and coming Sant?Anna airport at Crotone.
