Village in Istria, Poljanice
Poljanice is a place located in the centre of Istria, 13 km from Pazin, on the Pazin- Buzet stretch and in the vicinity of Cerovlje and the Istrian Y, three-lane two- way road. Total surface of the tourist-catering complex is around 41 ha and it consists of an agricultural and building plot. Agricultural plot includes fields, meadows, water springs, streams, ponds and vast wooded areas, the natural habitat of wildlife such as fallow deer, wild boar, roe-buck and other small game. This is the main reason why the whole area is suitable for recreational hunting, as well as the search for the white and brown Istrian truffles, endless walks, maintaining cycling and bridle paths, golf-courses, planting raspberry bushes, fruit- trees and flowers or growing wine grapes. So, all the optimal conditions necessary for rural tourism and other types of tourism are met.
Features
The building plot surface is approximately 2 ha, and the surface of previously constructed and existing residential objects is almost 2000 sqm. All the objects were built 200 years ago in Istrian traditional style. Because of their arrangement, the objects take the form of a small village. The objects were partially renovated 6 years ago. All the residential objects have been registered in the cadastre as well as the land-registry. Since they were built prior to 1968, according to the law certificate of occupancy is not required. All the objects consist of a ground floor, first floor and an attic. At approximately 2 km distance from the village, a sport airport for small and sports planes is being built. This will ensure traffic accessibility and make the whole tourist- catering complex more attractive.
