The multipurpose project of Rustonka, including a shopping mall, office premises and comfortable living, will grow up on the premises of former Prague machine works. It will create a new complex near the Invalidovna Metro station, having the potential to become the social and commercial centre of an important development area – the Rohanský Island.


In addition to a shopping mall, which is the main element of the entire complex, the project envisages building two smaller multi-purpose buildings at Sokolovská Street in the first stage. They will offer approximately 8,600 m2 of office space and approximately 6,000 m2 for flats.

In next stages, the complex will be complemented with two other administrative buildings and a hotel, which is planned to be at the corner of Pob?ežní and Švábky Streets. The total usable area of the complex will be up to 70,000 m2.

The in-depth study for the development of the entire extensive area of the former Prague machine works including the surrounding plots also includes the design of all traffic connections, associated primarily with the construction of the new Pob?ežní Street. The construction is planned to start in 2009.
