Location
San Sostene Resort is situated near the beautiful town of Soverato in the Calabrian province of Catanzaro in Southern Italian Rivera. It is one of the most well known and beautiful tourist resorts on the Ionian coast, having been referred to as ‘The Gem of Ionian Sea’. The city of Catanzaro is a very wealthy, affluent city and also the regions capital.
Due to the microclimate which engulfs the area, the region offers warm and pleasant weather all year round. The seas are crystal clear and the region is blessed by 800 kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches and hidden coves that attract various water-sports and diving enthusiasts. The fishing port of Soverato is one of the best known and most active ports in southern Italy, ensuring that great seafood is always on the menu of the many restaurants in the region.
Nightlife in Soverato is mixed and varied, ranging from the lively beachside bars and restaurants to the picturesque narrow streets and quaint restaurants that litter the old town. Every summer, the town attracts many American Italians returning to their homeland as well as Italians from the North who visit on their holidays every summer. During the summer months, a nightly funfair takes place on the beach which attracts the young and the old alike to party till the early hours of the morning.

San Sostene
San Sostene is a beautiful quaint little town in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabrian region of Italy. It is one of the smallest towns in the province of Catanzaro. As of 2007 San Sostene had an estimated population of 1,130. San Sostene is 5 minutes from Soverato, 15 minutes away from the town of Catanzaro, and just 35 minutes drive from Lamezia airport which offers direct and indirect inexpensive flights from London. A new motorway is currently being built that will cut this journey time to just 20 minutes.

San Sostene development is built on a fantastic panoramic elevated position above the town, offering breathtaking sea views, some of the best you could ever experience on the Ionian Coast. The resort consists of 140 units consisting of 1 bedroom apartments, 3 bedroom townhouses and 3 bedroom penthouse apartments, each stylishly designed to fit into the landscape. San Sostene Resort is situated 1500 metres away from amazing white sandy beaches and local restaurants and is also within close proximity of the nearby Santa Catherina Golf Course. There will be a shuttle bus service connecting residents with the beach.
San Sostene is also located close to the fabulous town of Soverato; the promenade in Soverato is to be expanded out to San Sostene, enhancing the connections between the two towns, giving you the peace and quiet of San Sostene, yet only a short distance away from cafes and restaurants in Soverato.

San Sostene Resort is due for completion in June 2010 and will be ready for use in the later part of 2010 once all furnishings and facilities have been completed.
