Tatranska Lomnica is a ski resort in Vysoke Tatry [High Tatras], in northern Slovakia. It is one of the highest points of Slovakia with the most amazing mountains in the world. The cable cars connect Tatranska Lomnica to the highest point in Slovakia. At the top there's an Astronomical Observatory and a revamped restaurant.

During winter you cannot ski for a cheaper price in Europe! Tatranska Lomnica has wonderful pistes and ski schools for all levels. During summer, hiking in Vysoke Tatry and neighbouring Slovensky Raj is just fantastic.

There are direct flights from London Luton to Poprad with Danube Wings. The trip takes a little more than 2 hours. Tatranska Lomnica is 14 kms from Poprad-Tatry Airport and it costs £15 - £20 to reach it by taxi. It is far cheaper to get the bus or the train. Optionally you can rent a car.

Not far from Vysoke Tatry you can enjoy the delights of Slovensky Raj [Slovak Paradise] National Park or the magic of Dobsinská Ladova [Ice Caves].
