Kestel
is in between the Oba and Mahmutlar-about 5 - 7 km outside of Alanya. Kestel is still an undisturbed area for those who want peace and quiet. This will probably be an exclusive area for villas in the future.

Kestel is beautifully located between the sea and Taurus Mountains, and you get a feeling of being in the country side. There is no center to speak of, but some local restaurants and small markets. The bus connections to Alanya is very good, it takes only 15 minutes to get to the city. Next to the sandy beach the municipally is creating a beautiful beach promenade.

Kestel has a beautiful nature, and the charming Dim valley with its river of the same name, is only 10 minutes drive away. On hot days is wonderful to sunbath in the middle river, or eating lunch in the water which rarely hold more than 15 degrees.

In the Dim valley you also find the DIM cave - a unique and special place to visit. It is not so long ago the cave was discovered by a goat farmer, and one assumes that it is about 1 million years old. Visit and enjoy the atmosphere that is created with a special flute music that accompanies you all the way...

Many falls in love with the idyllic atmosphere in Kestel, and the peace that exists here, but per. today there are not many homes for sale in the area.
