Description:
The villa is a wonderful Tuscan villa originally built in 1850 by an Italian noble family. The villa was built on the ruins of a fortified castle dating back to the 13th century.
In 2007 the villa saw the end to a long and meticulous period of restorations. There are very strict requirements to renovations of historic properties, especially in Tuscany. The restorations were therefore a painstaking process where one had to consider the villas former characteristics and history, and at the same time adapt the building to today’s modern requirements of comfort and lifestyle.
The walnut-tree doors on the first floor and the big fire place in the living room have a particular value.
The roof has been completely insulated, doors and windows, electrical and hydraulic installations have been changed. The outdoor swimming pool has been completely rebuilt. The heating installation has been divided into four parts with independent boilers, so that the villa can be heated only in the in inhabited parts.
The villa appears today as the perfect place for businesses or private persons who looks for peace and quiet, either to work, or to rest after busy days.
Part of the furnishing is available on request (prices to be requested).
