It is almost flat and sits on a plateau about 100m above the village. It is near enough to the scarp slope that falls away towards the village to provide excellent far-reaching views, but far enough away to not worry about any land slip which might occur on the slope. The distance to the scarp slope is 100m. It is way outside any any flood area and is readily suited to development.
