Location
Ostuni (about 32,000 inhabitants) is known throughout the world as "The white City". It rises on the apulian Murgia between the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto. Thanks to its beautiful historic center, the amazing panorama, the cathedral, the museums, the rich churches of art and traditions, the typical houses in stone: the trulli, Ostuni has been declared from the enviromentalists Blue Flag of Europe, with its beautiful inlet and beach along the whole coast. Located at the edge of the Itria Valley, it preserves the reserved bashfulness of the tumbledown villages of this rather intriguing strip of land, together its own gaiety and liveliness, typical of the towns which have developed beside the sea, from which it is just six kilometres away.
