The ground floors of the buildings are two or three storey trading areas planned so as to allow different types of premises to be formed and also to be merged into large showrooms. Trading areas are spacious, with plenty of light and strategically situated to guarantee successful commercial activity. The height of the office buildings is approximately 90 m, communication being focused in the centre and having liberal floor planning . There are fourteen four to eight storey residential structures in the complex which are in conformity to the overall concept of the composition. Most of the areas that are not built-up will be planted with trees and bushes and the parking lots for the complex will be underground. Many gardens and greenery alleys will ensure tranquillity for all in the hasty daily round. The trees will be mostly along the street passing through the complex, and along the pedestrian area.
„Sky Buildings” has unique and interesting features both for its residents and for the successful business relations. The plot where the complex is to be constructed is at approx. 100 m from the main thoroughfare of Plovdiv – the road to Asenovgrad, in its Mendeleev Blvd. section heading to Asenovgrad. That is the main thoroughfare leading to the Plovdiv Airport which is 10 km away or 10 min by car, and also leading to Pamporovo Winter Resort –86 km away, or about 90 min by car. Near the exit of the complex, on the boulevard there is a bus stop of buses No 4, 10, 24, 30 and 99.
The street connecting the plot with Mendeleev Blvd. joins the new thoroughfare of Plovdiv, namely Naicho Tzanov Blvd., along which in 5 min. by car one could reach the centre of Plovdiv and Trimontium Hotel, in 10 min – the International Plovdiv Fair, and in approx. 7 min. – the Plovdiv Central Station. The plot is situated also at 5 min by car from the ring-road of Plovdiv which is connected to Trakia Highway.
The plot is bordered as follows:

The plot is located in a quickly advancing region of Plovdiv. Along with “Sky Buildings” Project another two large projects are being constructed in the region. One of them is the Business and Retail Park owned by Landmark which comprises of consumer goods shops. The second project is the residential complex “Kolodrum” and the sports hall at the place of the former “Academic” Stadium.
The complex consists of 21 buildings situated around the central street dividing it into halves:
5 one or two storey commercial buildings with shops for manufactured goods, restaurants, hypermarkets and other areas to the service of the complex. The total unfolded built-up area of the commercial zone is approx. 10 000 sq.m.
Two 27 and 17 storey office buildings with a total unfolded built-up area of approx. 30 000 sq.m.
14 residential buildings, whose storeys vary between 4 to 8, and one of the buildings being thirty storey. The total unfolded built-up area of the residential zone is approx. 49 000 sq. m.
For the needs of the complex there will be 2 overground and underground levels of parking lots and service areas. A total number of 1 100 overground and underground parking places are planned for the complex.
The facades are to be executed with ceramic tiling, suspended facades, tiling with Etalbond, PVC windows and mineral plaster.
Each building in their basis is with foundation slabs with different thickness according to the height of the building. The construction of most of the buildings of residential type is monolith steel concrete. The office building with height ~90m situated in the north corner of the plot is metal construction. The residential building with height ~90m situated in the south end of the plot is also with metal construction – steel beams, columns and slabs “steel sheet + 6 cm concrete”. Vertical communications will be steel concrete.
The rooftop construction of every building is type flat roof with following materials: membrane with mineral stew for hydro insulation and stirodur for thermal insulation with internal draining system. The boards will be finished with dust-painted steel sheets.
Coverings in the residential buildings inside are as follows: in the living rooms – laminate, hallways – granite, service premises – faience and terracotta. In the offices and stores the main covering will be granite
Entry doors of the residences will be massive, PVC window work, and office doors will be from glass. The suspended facades of the office buildings will be type structural, and in the first three floors – commercial type, type cap system.
Evacuation stairways with smoke insulating doors are to be executed for every building. The complex will be heated with natural gas with distribution body in every apartment. Air conditioning of the residential buildings will be with air-conditioners in niches in the facades of the buildings. Air conditioning in the office buildings will be central type chillers on the roof or in technological floors inside the buildings.
