Byzantium is a new off-plan hotel located in the attractive sea resort of Sozopol about 18 miles from the city of Bourgas and the airport. The hotel, with a total build area of 3,000 sq metres, is just 50 metres from the beach. Most apartments have fantastic sea views.

Byzantium is located in the Sozopol area, which is not quite as crowded as the big resorts and offers all the qualities needed for a nice and peaceful holiday. At the same time Byzantium is a very good investment opportunity in a prosperous part of Bulgaria. The complex is situated in the St Marina locality, 18 miles south of the city of Bourgas and the airport. The plot is situated in a nice pine forest; it has good communications and a wonderful sea view. The project is an apartment-hotel with restricted access for external visitors and with 24-hour security to ensure the relaxation and recreation of all clients. The interior and exterior looks of the building are designed to be in early Byzantine Basilica style, where the name of complex comes from.

The Byzantium building consists of a ground floor, two further floors and a penthouse. Byzantium has 24 apartments of an average size of 80 sq metres, with parking places, reception desk, restaurant, Roman bath, fitness centre and swimming pool for adults and children. The reception desk and the restaurant are situated on the ground floor. The Roman bath will be constructed in the original Oriental style with a high ceiling. There will be a housekeeping office on each floor.

Sozopol is one of the most popular beach resorts, preferred by people for its casual ambience and traditional atmosphere. There is good variety of restaurants, cafes and night clubs, plus two cinemas and various shops. While Sozopol bustles during July and August, in the off-season it reverts back to a sleepy fishing village and is a favoured haunt of artists and writers. The most interesting and special area is probably the old town with its wooden houses and artistic atmosphere. The small harbour is a good place to watch fishermen unload their catches. There are two beaches in Sozopol, but the best is at Dyuni, an upmarket Austrian-designed resort village complex three miles to the south.
