Trout Creek location can only be described as one of “outstanding natural beauty”.
The village of Madzhare is nestled in a mountain valley with the shallow Black Iskar River running through. Frequently compared by buyers to Swiss or French alpine settlements it is hard to believe it is possible to buy investment property in such a quaint and charming location. Especially at this price!

Less than ten minutes away by car is the city of Samokov which is just under an hour from the capital city Sofia and its airport. Close proximity to Sofia guarantees Borovets and the region as a whole has a constant tourist foot-fall from both Sofia’s elite and foreigners alike. In summer months, the shores and beaches of nearby Lake Iskar (15 min from Trout Creek) get busy with holiday makers enjoying the water sports, fishing or just escaping the oppressive city heat. In winter, Borovets position as the most northerly ski resort in Bulgaria (apart from Mt. Vitosha in Sofia) also means it tends to have the best snow record.

The quiet road running through the Village will take you to Borovets (approx. 10 minutes by car today) or alternatively you could head in the other direction towards the lesser known slopes of Malyovista, another ski resort which is also about ten minutes away at most.
White peaks surround the Madzhare which is about 2km from Beli Iskar, a village about to become a major focal point of the “Super Borovets” scheme. Beli Iskar is set to have its own high-speed lift to take snow sports enthusiasts to the top of Bulgaria’s highest mountain (2590m) before they come back down what is proposed to be one of Europe’s longest ski run at 14km.

Three golf courses have been proposed for the locality which already has the first well under construction in nearby Dolna Banya and is being designed by the Nicklaus Design team, their first golf course in Eastern Europe. Completion for this project is estimated to be around the end of 2008.
