Finca in Aquilue, 45 hectares
LEGEND:
The cave of La Mora is in the nearby area of the Virgin of Los Ríos which can be visited. It is said that a witch lived there and she would come down to the villages and kill the mules.
For this reason throughout the area people put witch-scarers in their chimneys.
The story goes that the people wanted to steal the virgin and bring her to their mountain and keep her closer for protection but they were unable to do so because every time they went to bring her down they fell asleep and were unable. In the end they decided it was impossible and gave up but this is why they are called ‘furta santos’ (saint stealears).
