XVII Century Convent
This XVII century convent housed a closed order of sisters and was a working convent until 1981 when the order relocated to new premises and the current owner bought the property.
At its peak the convent slept between 50 and 100 nuns, each in their own cell. At every turn there is something reminding the visitor of the building's former use, be it a cross, the grill for speaking to people from the outside or even the chapel.
The convent is a Barroque building with masonry and stonework, three naves and an impressive façade, as well as a central cloister on three floors. On each corner of the building there is a tower with a prism-shaped roof and a dovecot on the top floor.
The church has a rectangular apse and a nave covered by a half canon vault with windows. The nave is in two parts plus the transept, while the wings are covered by two side domes.

Size: 1,700m2 built on plus two hectares of vegetable gardens and grounds
This former convent is an ideal property for conversion into a hotel or retreat. Located in peaceful countryside it offers tranquillity in a beautiful setting. Indeed the convent sits on the outskirts of a pretty Aragon village, which itself has been declared a site of special historic interest.
