Very attractive beautifully furnished two bedroomed apartments in quiet area on the outskirts of the main tourist resort in Croatia.
Porec has a wide range of activities for young and old.
In the hinterland is the wonderful wine and olive oil producing area often referred to as 'The New Tuscany', with fascinating ancient hilltop towns like Groznjan and Motovun, from the days when Istria was part of the Venetian Empire. Groznjan has a jazz festival and Motovun an international film festival.
The Istrian olive oil was the most prized in the Roman Empire.
Go dirtbiking or horse riding along the many marked rural routes.
Try windsurfing or potholing.
Visit the abandoned fortified medieval town of Dvigrad, or go to the romantic port of Rovinj.
Take a hydrofoil to Venice for the day, although watch out for the prices. Food and drink in Porec is much cheaper! Visit the unique Limski Kanal where the movie 'The Vikings' was filmed and enjoy oysters and mussels fresh from its clear waters.
Wash them down with the wonderful Istrian wines.
The apartments are in a quiet hamlet only 2mins from the main supermarkets and 10mins from the old town with its UNESCO protected C6th Basilica together with many restaurants and bars.
The house has its own vineyard and the owner makes his own wine and rakija.
All apartments have fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living rooms with SAT/TV, Internet connection, nice bathrooms complete with washing machines, comfortable bedrooms and spacious terraces with sea views.
Prices are for four people per day for the four, for periods of a minimum of 4 days. Please ask for rates for alternative numbers of people up to six, or less than four.
