Fantastic Bed and Breakfast next to the Rio Mondego with beautiful river and countryside views. You can only be charmed by this beautiful riverside holiday cottages on the owners's organic quinta, next to the river "Rio Mondego". Possibility to welcome groups up to 20 persons. The renovation work has been done with a lot of taste and high quality. Beds, floors and kitchen all hand-made from reclaimed wood.It consists of 4 different houses ("Casa do Forno", "Casa da Figueira", Casa Principa, "Wooden Cabin"), all benefiting from solar panels and river view (except the wooden house). Water is available from a well and a borehole in case of scarcity in summer.An old oven is still being used to make bread and pizzas and traditionnal Portuguese dishes. Big organic garden.Every house has its own fireplace. In summer you can swim, fish or do some canoe on the Rio Mondego or sunbath on sandy riverbanks and private places. A playground for children and swimming pool is also available with a separate part for children. This place is a protected area and the infrastructure has been made in a way that both owners and guests are partly self-sufficient.The area also offers many places to visit (villages of Povo de Midoe, Sevilha, Fiais da Bera with many local markets), Coimbra, Mountain "Serra da Estrela, thermal Bath of Luso, Conimbriga, a Golf (35 km), Ocean (100 km), horse riding (5km), Djembe worshops (2 km)
