It is possible to sleep 2 more (children), either in the living/kitchen where there is a sofa couch or, on roll away beds in the bedrooms. LOCATION

Leogang village is a super area for both winter & summer holidays. It is fairly quiet & an ideal choice for families. In winter the ski area is accessed by the Asitz Gondola which takes just 13 minutes to reach the ski runs linked to the Saalbach/Hinterglemm Ski Circus which is vast & varied & therefore suitable for all abilities. The ski schools offer excellent tuition & children are extremely well catered for. In summer the resort is famous for Bike World, Europe's largest mountain bike park. 1,200Km of cycle and mountain bike trails offer both seriously challenging opportunities & leisurely flat valley routes. Walking is a popular summer activity with 400Km of marked walking paths.Leogang has made a great effort to become a children’s dream holiday.The Leo Card is available to buy and offers access to many free organized children’s activities in summer ,including puppet theatre, pony rides,nature walks, BBQ. General information
Our apartment house is in a sunny position convenient for village centre where you will find a supermarket, sports shop post office and tourist info. Directly on walking/cycle path,there is a children's play park less the 25 mtrs from the house,a super outdoor swimming pool and tennis for summer.(100 mtrs walk.) Bike World is also1 Km. The ski area of Leogang is accessed by the Asitz gondola just over 1Km away. The ski bus runs regularly For beginners there is a ski school located in the village centre, with a nursery slope & beginners lift. Excellent ski schools offer group & private lessons for all abilities with English speaking instructors. Nearby is Zell am See for a lively night out is a bustling winter/ summer resort with many water based sports around the lake, 2 beautiful golf courses and shops, bars & good restaurants. Kaprun Glacier offers year round skiing, and is available with a Ski Alpin Ski pass, covering Ski Circus and Europa Sport Region resorts of Zell/Kaprun

Winter
In addition to ski and snowboarding it is possible to enjoy many other activities.Cross country skiing is well catered for with widespread trails available.The nearby resort of Hochfilzen -15 minutes away is famous for high altitude snow sure trails and equipment can be hired locally .Other winter activities are snow shoe walking through the forests, or it is possible to experience the local scenery from the comfort of a horse sleigh ride. For the adventure seekers there is a high rope garden and ice karting . Leogang is linked with the famous Saalbach / Hinterglemm Ski Circus opening a vast ski area for all abilities.A little further away in Zell am See is a swimming pool and also ice rink for skating .Kaprun is less than half an hour away for snow sure glacier skiing.A ski pass is available for the both ski circus and Zell, Kaprun and glacier.Great value Night-life is fairly limited but family friendly with the majority being centred around the cozy bars and pubs scattered around

Children are well catered for in Leogang. During winter it is possible to purchase a LEO Bonus Card priced at just Euro 1.This offers good reductions e.g. 10% on ski/ board lessons & 15% on equipment rental. 1 free meal from a child’s special menu at one of the participating restaurants, 50% off tobboggan rental, it also entitles you to a free children’s Leo card for a summer holiday. The summer card offers fantastic value for money. Normal purchase price is Euro 23 adult/ Child under 14 Euro 13. It provides for participation in weekly children’s activities, free admission to the mining exhibition,2 free admissions to the Leogang summer leisure centre Sauna, 1 free ride up & down on the Asitz cable car, 7 admissions into the outdoor swimming pool, or lake swimming at Lake Ritzen, or the outdoor swimming in Saalfelden. 1 free entrance to local museum, 1 to the mountain mining museum & twice weekly free guided hiking, cycle or mountain bike tours. Further savings on many other sports.

Skiing Information:
Leogang is part of the famous 'skicircus' linked with the villages of Saalbach and Hinterglemm.The area offers 60 lifts and 200 kilometers of mixed ability marked and well groomed pistes. Accessed from the Asitz gondola which in 12 minutes reaches 1800 meters,the area offers a snow park with elements for all abilities of snowboarder, and a timed racing course. Many restaurants and huts offer ample eating opportunities. During the main season it is possible to enjoy evening skiing right in the centre of Leogang. The schanteilift is open Tuesday and Thursday from 19.00 to 21.30 for floodlight skiing ,free with a ski pass ( more than 2 day ). Otherwise the charge is Euro 10 ad/5 ch.On Monday evening is the free Leo ski show at 20.00. On Thursdays it is possible to try flodlight curling.On Tus/Fri/Sat evening between 18.00 and 21.00 the gondola is open to the middle station for evening tobogganing, rental is available or you may bring your own. The restaurant remains open on these evenings
