Tennessee is probably most famous for it's contribution to the musical industry. Many thousands of country singers have made their dreams come true by singing at the Grand Ol Opry at Nashville, which is renowned worldwide as the home and world's capital of country music.
Tennessee was also home to Elvis Presley the "King of Rock n' Roll." , and Graceland in Memphis is the mansion where Elvis Presley lived.
Dolly Parton, borne in Sevierville, established her internationally famed theme park, Dollywood, at Pigeon Forge in a scenic valley just north of the Smoky Mountain National Park.
Famous Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey is distilled in Lynchburg, and Chattanooga, on the beautiful Tennessee River, provides the opportunity to sample true southern hospitality in the old riverboat tradition on the Southern Belle Riverboat.
