At St. Remy Plantation, your every whim will be catered to; a full staff is at your disposal.
St. Remy is a restored estate house which is about 150 years old. The house is situated high in the hills in a small estate. The gardens surrounding the house are fully landscaped and are an excellent example of a truly lush and colourful Caribbean garden and tended with care by the resident gardener/watchman, George.
The house is a good example of Caribbean architecture from the past centuries and has the typical scrubbed wooden floors and a verandah, which encircles the house on three sides. There are 2 double bedrooms with a queen size bed in each bedroom, one bathroom and one shower room. A sitting/dining room, furnished in the old fashioned style proper to the house.
The sitting room has a music centre and a TV with a video and a video library - there is no TV reception in that area.
There is a small guest cottage with two single beds, which on application may be available for rental.
The pool is spectacularly situated on the hillside in its own sun deck.
During your stay at St. Remy one complimentary visit per person to the Diamond Mineral Baths is offered to all guests. Bird-watchers will also be delighted; St. Remy's gardens teem with countless species!
Villa suitable for 4 persons (plus 2 on request).
Separate quarters for resident watchman/gardener.
Housekeeper/ cook 7 days a week from 8am to 3pm. The housekeeper can stay and cook and serve dinner if requested - guests are expected to pay for this additional service.
No children under 12 years of age.
Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.

• Your friendly and skillful cook will be available each day from 8am until 5pm to prepare your meals.
• Please let us know in advance of any of your special dietary needs and your housekeeper can be ready to accommodate them. Your maid will attend your rooms and do laundry whenever you wish.
• George
• George and his dog are the dutiful watchmen at St. Remy and will be on-call 24 hours a day. They live in a cottage on the St. Remy property within calling distance of the main house.
• George is also a true landscape artist, keeping the grounds beautiful and flowers in constant bloom throughout the year.

Driving - St. Lucians drive on the left. A visitor's driving permit can be obtained from any police station but often car hire companies can arrange this.

St. Remy Plantation is a unique vacation spot nestled in the lush, green hills of south west St. Lucia, just outside the historic town of Soufrière.
Soufriere is the third town of St. Lucia. It is a two-hour drive from Castries / George Charles Airport and an hours drive from Hewanorra Airport. The drive-in volcano, the health-giving mineral baths, and the scenic Pitons are all situated in the Soufriere area. Anse Chastanet, a nearby beach, is renowned for its excellent snorkelling.
Seemingly untouched by time, St Lucia offers a lush terrain of magnificent rain forests, primeval mountain peaks, colourful fishing villages and secluded beaches.
Castries, the bustling capital, with it's 400 year old saman tree shading the cathedral, provides excellent shopping, and with nearby Pointe Seraphine Duty Free Complex offering luxury goods. Rental Notes
Rents are charged at the daily rates of U.S.$255 to U.S.$520 dependant upon the number of guests. Contact us for details of special offers.
A deposit is required on booking and with the balance payable 10 weeks prior to the relevant arrival date.
Rental rates include the housekeeper preparing breakfast, lunch, and leaving a pre-cooked evening meal if required.
Starter pack of groceries is available at cost.
Airport transfer can be arranged both on arrival and departure.
Car hire is available with collection on arrival at the airport or delivery to the villa.
