Judged Best Caribbean Property in the 2006 International Property Awards, Villa Giorgia's unique design and interior decor offers an exotic blend of West Indian architecture and restrained European details.
Features
Light, airy and spacious with more than 1.2 acres of rolling parkland grounds, the villa offers guests both privacy and luxury. Villa Giorgia is situated at Cap Estate with its 3 white sand beaches and an 18 hole championship Golf Course.
You enter the house through an arched, stone clad gateway into a Mediterranean type courtyard with high white walls and terra cotta floor tiles. This courtyard provides access to the main house and the adjacent one bedroom cottage.
You enter the main house from the courtyard into the dining room, which is cooled with ceiling fans and equipped with a music centre. French doors open from the dining room onto the courtyard, thus affording an al fresco feel to your dining experience. Adjacent is the 30 foot long galley kitchen, well equipped with modern appliances ( modern stove, microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer with ice maker) and a breakfast bar with high stools. Attached to the kitchen is a laundry area with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The kitchen area flows through to the light and airy living room which is cooled with ceiling fans and has a large TV connected to cablevision. French doors open from the sitting room onto the spacious covered verandah, which runs the whole length of the house. The verandah is equipped with loungers and a dining table and chairs for alfresco dining.
The mainhouse has three double bedrooms all of which boast a Queen size bed, built in air conditioning units, television and a mini hi fi system. French doors open directly from the bedrooms onto the verandah; through which guests can enjoy wonderful breezes, views of the garden and direct access to the swimming pool. Bedroom I has a large ensuite bathroom with both a tub and a shower. Bedroom 2 also has an ensuite shower room. There is an additional shower room which can be shared by guests in bedroom 3 and guests in the small air conditioned study bedroom 4, furnished with a double bed.
The guest cottage has one air conditioned bedroom with a Queen size bed, a shower room, sitting room and a small kitchen.
The property is situated in a gently sloping, fenced and gated garden. There are two swimming pools: a large swimming pool and a small, shallow plunge pool with concentric steps - ideal for children or just sitting and relaxing. There is an 8 foot wide sundeck for sun lovers.
