DALYAN ….DALYAN…..
Dalyan, the home of the caretta carettas, witness the meeting of the Aegean with the Mediterranean with its virgin beauties and hundreds of kinds of fish and other sea creatures.
Dalyan is not by the shore but stil there is the sea and the region has many lakes. You can swim both in the sea and in the lakes with the length of 8 km natural canals that look like a labyrinth when you look from the dock of Köycegiz, founded next to the rush and also covered by them, to the beach of Iztuzu.
It is one of the first places that come to mind for the ones looking for peace in the magic of silence.
Dalyan is one of the three regions under protection since 1989.For this reason,Özel Çevre Koruma Kurumu (Organization for Preserving Natural Life) was formed in Dalyan.Under the climate of Mediterranean,Dalyan has the flora of Mediterranean.Maquis are everwhere in the region.
Buldings in Dalyan are mostly two or three flats.
