LAST MINUTE SEPTEMBER -10% Nestling in the village of S.lucia on the mountain plateau above Monopoli is the pretty pink and white rustic Trullo Russo.
Features
The terrace is florded with sunlight and dappled shade for most of the day and has off road parking beneath the palm tree. It has a large piece of land with a few fruit trees and olive trees. There is a small shop across the road where you can buy most thing.
The house is easy to find as it it is on the small road that rins through the village.
There are tree comes on the roof and the house is all on one level except for the bathroom wich has two steps down. Through the original front door is the comportable livingroom with double futon,table and chairs and tv with DVD. To the left is the large bedroom with kingsize bed, bedside tables,wardrobe and two chairs. To th right of the livingroom is the small bedroom with single bed and bedside table. Next to the bedroom,is the small kitchen with cupboards,refrigerator,cooker and utensils and sink. To the back of the livingroom is the small bathroom. It has central heating and boiler is in the border house at the back

Monopoli is a very nice town on the sea, famous, apart for its beaches and clean waters, also for its baroque churches. The town was a flourishing seaport in Byzantine and Norman times. Its port was subject in the past to the pirate attacks. In the XVI century the Spanish built a castle to defend it, indeed, it is still surrounded by the barricades built by the Aragonesi to protect against attacks from the sea. Full of churches and of a series of noble residencies. Particularly famous the Cathedral of the Madonna della Madia, typical example of baroque church. Around Monopoli it’s possible to visit some rock churches, some of which have been built inside the rocks. The entire area of the town is littered with “masserie”, small farmsteads turned into fortresses because of the frequent invasions of the pirates, where small, self sufficient communities used to live.
