Villa Carlana

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, a food shop. AIR CONDITIONED - Villa Carlana is situated in the quiet suburb of Los Altos approximately 2km south west of Torrevieja on the southern Costa Blanca. The airports of Murcia & Alicante are easily accessed on the nearby AP-7 motorway around 2km drive away. This is a private home used on a regular basis by the owners and furnished accordingly to an exceptional standard and therefore stands out from the usual ' holiday let' properties. The house enjoys private secure gardens and grounds and a 10m x 4m private pool. There is also a barbeque area and exterior furniture. As one can see from the external photographs there is a raised terrace area to the front of the house from which you can enjoy the sunshine on the sunbeds provided.The house also has English TV in several rooms with the main (large) lounge area also enjoying Video, DVD and Music system.There is an abundance of local amenities, shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants at various locations, although The Abbey pub is a popular venue offer live music most nights of the week. The restaurants opposite are also highly recommended. This area of the southern Costa Blanca (the Orihuela Costa) features many lovely beaches. You are only a few minutes away from the beaches of La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Punta Prima or Mil Palmeras ÔÇô all of which have been awarded the European Blue Flag for excellence. Each beach features kiddies play areas and a beach bar/caf+® serving cooked food, tapas and snacks ÔÇô probably the areas best beach is Cala Capitan on the Cabo Roig peninsula (easy to find with our directions). In all of the areas main urbanisations you will find excellent bars & restaurants, particularily in Flamenca Beach, Los Dolces, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Villamartin. Although the Japanese Revenge of Karaoke is rampant on most evenings and in most bars the Irish Bars tend to lean towards considerably better live entertainment though until the early hours. Go Karts, Horse Riding, Quad Bikes, Jet Skis, massive all night discotheques ÔÇô you can have it quiet or very lively ÔÇô the choice is your. And everywhere is kid friendly.The main town of Torrevieja is around 15 minutes drive and is the principal town of the South Valencian community with excellent shopping, the massive Friday Market and enjoys a delightful seaboard of lidos for pleasant strolls, a craft market, fairground in summer and large marina offering boaty excursions. Torrevieja is surrounded by two huge salt lakes which it is claimed are responsible for creating a localised climate making the entire area one of the healthiest places in Europe ÔÇô from the number of retirees there one would think it was Gods Waiting Room. The airports of El Altet (Alicante) and San Javiar (Murcia) are 45 & 20 km respectively. Benidorm, with its nightlife and the theme parks of Aqualandia, Mundomar (Sea World) and Terra Mitica are around a 90 minute drive but well worth it for the kids.Reviews: Submitted 01/03/06 from The Mahon Family. We loved the pool, it's fantastic and beautiful. The scenery is nice and the villa is lovely and spacious, definately ideal for a family holiday and there is space on top with the roof terrace if required. We booked well in advance and wee glad we did, we were delighted when we got there - the villa was fantastic, huge to say the least. The Villa is excellent for 2 families as there are bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor, so privacy is great. efinately reccomend this to others are there are a lot out there that are very different to what is advertised. This one is far better, thanks very much and you will definatelty be hearing from us again
