The villa is right beside swimming, walking. This property has recently been fully refurbished with new furnishingd and set by a delightful pool and garden area within a pleasant gated residential quadrangle, the Colinas de La Zenia have been a favorite for several years. Families can enjoy watching the kiddies in the pool from the comfort of a private terrace in the from garden or higher up from the main bedroom balcony/solarium. These houses catch the sun almost for the entire day. Villa Helena is AIR CONDITIONED and has a double bedroom with terrace balcony overlooing the pool and a twin room to the rear thaat has bunkbeds plus a single bed so families of 2 + 3 kiddies can be comfortably accomodated. The excellent beaches of La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Flamenca are a short distance away with the nearest around a 5 minute drive or a 15 min walk. There are numerous local amenities, shops bars and restaurants around 500m distance and the Orihuela Resort Club is only 5 mins walk way and has pools, tennis courts, basketball hoops, bars, cafe & restaurant. Villa Helena is an excellent location for young families. This area of the southern Costa Blanca (the Orihuela Costa) features many lovely beaches. You are only a few minutes away from the beaches of La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Punta Prima or Mil Palmeras ÔÇô all of which have been awarded the European Blue Flag for excellence. Each beach features kiddies play areas and a beach bar/caf+® serving cooked food, tapas and snacks ÔÇô probably the areas best beach is Cala Capitan on the Cabo Roig peninsula (easy to find with our directions). In all of the areas main urbanisations you will find excellent bars & restaurants, particularily in Flamenca Beach, Los Dolces, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Villamartin. Although the Japanese Revenge of Karaoke is rampant on most evenings and in most bars the Irish Bars tend to lean towards considerably better live entertainment though until the early hours. Go Karts, Horse Riding, Quad Bikes, Jet Skis, massive all night discotheques ÔÇô you can have it quiet or very lively ÔÇô the choice is your. And everywhere is kid friendly.The main town of Torrevieja is around 15 minutes drive and is the principal town of the South Valencian community with excellent shopping, the massive Friday Market and enjoys a delightful seaboard of lidos for pleasant strolls, a craft market, fairground in summer and large marina offering boaty excursions. Torrevieja is surrounded by two huge salt lakes which it is claimed are responsible for creating a localised climate making the entire area one of the healthiest places in Europe ÔÇô from the number of retirees there one would think it was Gods Waiting Room. The airports of El Altet (Alicante) and San Javiar (Murcia) are 45 & 20 km respectively. Benidorm, with its nightlife and the theme parks of Aqualandia, Mundomar (Sea World) and Terra Mitica are around a 90 minute drive but well worth it for the kids.
