Villa Lauray

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting. Villa Lauray is our second home and is furnished and equipped as such.Entry is via a tiled and covered porch leading into a very spacious open plan living, dining area with open fireplace and marble floor, the lounge area has two sofas and armchair, one sofa converts to a bed, there is TV with sky channels and a DVD /CD player. The dining area has a large table, 6 chairs and sideboard, this leads to a fully fitted modern kitchen with oven, hob, extractor, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, iron, ironing board and crockery/cutlery etc. for 8 people.Doors from the kitchen and living /dining rooms lead onto a shady terrace running the length of villa with a built in barbeque at one end, this terrace has beautiful views over the valley and olive grove that is to the right of villa and has gated access to the pool and landscaped garden, From the pool/ garden there are stunning views of the mountain. Table chairs sunloungers and parasols are provided.Inside from the dining area a marble staircase leads upstairs, the master bedroom has a king size bed and balcony where you can sit and enjoy views of the sunset, it has built in wardrobes and an en suite with shower, there are a further two bedrooms one double with king size bed and balcony and a twin, both have double wardrobes. The family bathroom has a shower over bath and this is where the washing machine is conveniently located, there is also a toilet/washroom downstairs.Bed linen/ covers /towels are provided as are plug adaptors, hair drier and a clotheshorse. There is also an electronic safe and from June 2007 there will be the use of a Turkish pay as you go mobile with taxi/ restaurant/ help numbers, we have arranged fixed / cheaper rates with a couple of local taxi drivers for our guests. Soon after your arrival our agents will visit to ensure you are familiar and happy with the villa and equipment they will give you information about the surrounding area and answer any questions you might have. They also operate a 24hr help line in case of emergencies.The pool is cleaned daily the garden tended a couple of times a week,and the developement has 24hr security.If you are hiring a car we have off road parking for 2 cars at the entrance to villa.Because of the villa's elevated position there is generally a cooling breeze, which will be appreciated in the hotter months or after spending time down at the beach. Whilst the pool is accessed from bolted gates on the terrace we still do not recommend this villa for infants.Please note and respect our wish that there is no smoking inside the villa.
