What’s in a name?
Didim is a wide peninsula area along the Aegean Coast, situated between Izmir and Bodrum airports. Didim comprises of several villages, several seaside resorts and the town of Didim, often referred to as Yeni Hisar. Here are some of the areas within Didim that are currently popular: Altinkum, Didim town (Yeni Hisar), Yesilkent, Mavisehir, Yesiltepe, Akbuk, Lake Bafa and Serantepe. None of these areas are far from the sea (there is something like 45KM of coastline around the Didim peninsula).
